Update: I've driven the BFG KM2 Mud Terrain tires for 7 months; total distance traveled on road was 8000-10000 miles. Trips included: Portland to Bend Oregon (4 hrs), Portland to Northern California, Portland to Colorado (4600 miles) and Portland to San There were no traction issues whatsoever in wet or rainy conditions. Ice traction isn't great in comparison to the Toyo MT tires. Snow Traction is alright but not incredible; once again the Toyo MT tires are better.
CDOT is informing drivers of some chain restrictions and restricted passes this morning due to snowy conditions in the high country. Starting October 1st, we'll have our road & weather reports up and running again.
